We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced internal applications for the position of Casual Community Services Assistant, who will contribute to the day-to-day operations of Council’s Community Service programs. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate person eager to collaborate with various programs within the Community Services Team, such as Seniors’ Centre (assisting with centre activities, meal services, community transport or care programs), Youth Centre (supporting youth programs), and Children & Families Team (supporting playgroups and events).

About You

 

This role will require minimum qualification in a field relevant to Community Services such as Cert 3 in a human services subject, for example early childhood education, youth work or community work and/or relevant experience in a related field.

You will also have demonstrated experience in delivering quality customer service in person, by telephone and email.

In addition to the above you will also have a valid Working with Children Check and a valid NSW drivers licence.

This position is subject to a national police check and driving assessment undertaken through Council.
