What You’ll Be Working On
Your daily duties encompass parking patrols, investigation of complaints, patrols of beaches, reserves, streets, building sites and footpath occupations.
In addition you will be responsible for undertaking the process of unauthorised signs and issuing penalty notices where appropriate.
You will ensure that all customer requests are received or referred are thoroughly and courteously investigated and resolved using Council policies and procedures in a prompt timely manner.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
To be successful in this role you hold a Certificate IV Local Government Governance and Administration or equivalent.
You will have demonstrated experience as a Ranger in local government, including an understanding of the Local Government Act, NSW Road Rules, Road Transport General Regulations Act, Companion Animals Act and other relevant parking legislation.
You will hold a current Class C Driver’s Licence.
In addition to the above you will also hold a current First Aid Certificate, current Traffic Controller (formerly Blue Card), a current White Card or willingness to obtain.
This position is subject to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check undertaken by Council.
